  • Product Description
  • Carrier tape (Carrier Tape) refers to a belt-like product used in the field of electronic packaging. It has a specific thickness and is equidistantly distributed along its length with holes (also known as pockets) for holding electronic components and positioning holes for index positioning.

The carrier tape is mainly used in the electronic component mounting industry. It is used in conjunction with a cover tape (upper sealing tape) to carry and store electronic components such as resistors, capacitors, transistors, diodes, etc. in the pocket of the carrier tape, and form a closed package by sealing the cover tape above the carrier tape to protect the electronic components from pollution and damage during transportation. When electronic components are mounted, the cover tape is peeled off, and the automatic mounting equipment takes out the components contained in the pocket in turn through the precise positioning of the carrier tape guide hole, and mounts them on the integrated circuit board (PCB).
